Lawrence: 'Movies could be a huge flop'

OK, those words did actually come out of Jennifer Lawrence's mouth. But the "Hunger Games" star can't possibly believe them.

Click here for a screenshot of a Q&A with Lawrence that has been published in the magazine Celebritext. In it, she also talks about being a fan of the "Twilight" saga's Kristen Stewart, being around her famous co-stars, and the most recent book she's read.

Speaking of "Twilight," according to Entertainment Weekly, "The Hunger Games" has broken the record for first-day advance ticket sales previously held by "Twilight Saga: Eclipse." "Hunger Games" tickets went on sale last week, and the movie opens on March 23.

The Observer has learned that an advance screening will take place on Wednesday, March 21, in Charlotte, which is one of the few cities that will actually get to see the film early. Keep an eye on CharlotteObserver.com and your daily newspaper for details on how to score passes...

How about a story on some locals who played Capitol people (stylists, crazy hair, outfits, etc.).

Jennifer Lawrence's career took off a few years ago after she played Bill Engvall's oldest child in Engvall's TBS television series THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW, also starring the wonderful Nancy Travis as his wife. Lawrence portrayed her teen character with intelligence, wit, dignity and good humor---allowing viewers including film casting directors to see that this beautiful and elegant young woman is also an authentic actress.

Jennifer's compelling performance in the film WINTER's BONE secured her status as an elite and bankable movie star, and the best is yet to come.

I wrote a guide awhile ago to share with friends on how to catch the majority of the movie screeners in Charlotte.
It's right here if this helps anyone:
